This project is a monochromatic my class was assigned in Art class. It took me almost 2 days to find something I could do for my project because every time I picked something, other classmates were already doing them. I wanted to do something that no one else was doing. I honestly didn't think I would be able to do the reflections of the birds but I did it. Everyone was using acrylic paint as well, and I was somewhat sick of acrylic. I chose to do watercolor. I came so close to backing out when I wish started because I didn't like it, but my friend made me continue. Plus I couldn't find the paper to start over. This was my first project done with watercolor. I have done watercolor in the past, but that was grade school projects and I didn't try hard back then. I didn't really like art then.
Since I was so proud of my monochromatic project and I finished early, I did another watercolor piece. I was definitely happy with how this one turned out. I also got a lot of compliments on it. I didn't want to turn it in for a grade because I wanted it back as soon as I completed it. I finished this is about 2 days.

Buddy
This is my aunt's cat, Buddy. She has another cat named Oreo, but Oreo doesn't like his picture taken. Buddy is a really good cat that will actually take baths. But he does kind of creep me out. He had an extra toe on his front paws. When I went over there for the first time since my aunt got her cats, Buddy jumped on me and clawed me on my thighs. His paws were spread apart like frog feet. I like frogs, but I don't like cats with frog feet. One of Buddy's eyes are foggy. I think before my aunt got the cats, Buddy might have got in a fight and got his eye scratched. Sometimes I wonder if it's difficult for him to see out of that eye. He is a lazier cat, but Oreo is very wild.
Going on a Walk- March 11, 2016
Last weekend I had a friend over and I wanted to show her around the property a little. I miss the days that my cousin and I would just play for hours, day and night, under these trees. The tree on the right is actually a tree that my cousin fell out of. I was kind of scared of climbing the tree, but once I got up there, I was fine. There are so many wonderful memories here. I wish we had more time to make more. Occasionally my cousin and I walk back there and share a few memories and laughs. For the past 2 or 3 years, we have rode my golf cart back there together while blaring the music of our choice. Although I will be able to drive on the road soon behind a car wheel, I am still looking forward to the summers we spend in the woods driving the golf cart.
My cousin and I always wanted to build a fort on this dead tree. It has changed appearance since we were younger, but it still looks like a good fort could be built by it, haha.

Mom's and Grandma's Favorite Tree
My family and I pass this tree every single day. When I was little, I remember my grandma saying it was her favorite tree. Every fall is looks like this. I could've gotten a better picture and this fall I plan on it. The power lines disappointed me since they got in the way.
When this tree has no leaves on it, it looks terrible. I wish the fall leaves lasted longer so I have more time to admire their beauty.

Grandpa's/Mom's Flowers
This is one of my favorite photos I've taken of my mom's and grandpa's flowers. The sun was beginning to set on a lovely summer evening. Almost every night, we would have a bonfire for no reason. My grandpa always walked over to watch it burn with me and we would talk about anything. I'm really going to miss that this year.
I'm also going to miss my cat Maybell jumping through the flower beds chasing after a baseball I accidentally threw through the beds. When I was walking around the yard taking all of these photos, Maybell would keep me company and smell all of the beautiful flowers.

Spring Break Excitement
For my Spring Break this year, I will be traveling to Florida for the very first time. I cannot contain my excitement for this trip! I have been out of state a few times. I've been to Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. My dad is driving my brother and I all the way there. We aren't flying. I feel that will be a more exciting way and cheaper way to travel. We'll definitely see a lot more instead of looking at clouds. I can't wait to post photos on here of my trip. I know we are attending Disney World while we're there. I think we may visit Universal Studios, Harry Potter World, and Sea World as well (at least I hope). I am excited to get some sea shells to take home and maybe do some crafts with them. I'll probably bring home more than necessary.

Grandpa's Garden: Part 1
This is a piece of my grandpa's garden from 2015. I could never get over how green and gorgeous it was. The plants always grew perfectly. Everyone would be at my grandpa's garden asking for cucumbers and tomatoes. In the past years, Grandpa would have weeded it better. But my grandpa was running out of steam. I remember the years when I was a little girl and my grandpa would grow carrots just for me to feed my rabbit. He would holler across the yard to me,"It's time to pick!".
